To be honest, I sometimes wake up in an ‘ off mood’. That mood could take me to doing nothing for the whole day.
Today is one of those days, but I changed the setting of my mood, 5 minutes at a time.
I needed to do this article, long time In coming, check my online teachers groups and do some training with them, get some x-rays done as my doctor is waiting on the results, go for a walk around my hood, clean out my fridge, unpack the dishwasher….you get the picture?
As you are reading this, I have started doing my article, but its’ been 5 minutes and I am going to do something else…see you shortly.
I’m back after a quick walk. Life is busy, and full of distractions. I love cooking, it’s my creative outlet but if I am not mindful, could walk away from my tasks for the day and cook!
So, why not try this 5 minute commitment to something and let it grow, or not? I can achieve everything I need to do with my distractions pushing for attention too. I am subconsciously not burdened but rather unburdened. I have given myself permission to do what I can, when I can, but get it done.
